"Employment! Cheer Up with Gwanak-gu!"

Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) is accelerating efforts to activate employment linkage for residents by hosting the '2023 Gwanak-gu Online and Offline Job Fair,' which offers various job opportunities.

The 'Online and Offline Job Fair' is a job fair that combines the advantages of both online and offline formats.

This year, following last year, the district is holding the 'Online and Offline Job Fair' for the second consecutive year, supporting job seekers of all ages to seize employment opportunities in their desired fields without being restricted by time or location.

First, the district will operate the 'Online Fair' for three weeks from October 26 to November 15.

Job seekers can search for hiring companies and apply online through the dedicated online recruitment website. About 70 companies will participate in the online fair, providing employment support services such as ▲self-introduction letter consulting and ▲job-specific video lectures to job seekers.

Additionally, the 'Offline Fair' will be held on November 2 at the Gwanak-gu Office auditorium.

Residents who have difficulty accessing online services can visit the site in person to receive employment information. Furthermore, through the employment support center, services such as resume writing guidance and job counseling will be provided to energize successful employment for residents.

Along with this, the district will hold various side events such as body composition tests and caricature drawing to offer enjoyment to job seekers.

Residents wishing to participate in the offline fair can bring their resumes and self-introduction letters on the day of the fair to attend interviews. Companies wishing to participate can also apply for and register job postings during the online fair period.

Mayor Park Junhee said, "Jobs are one of the best welfare benefits," and added, "I hope this job fair will greatly help residents find employment, and I sincerely wish for satisfactory results."

The district has achieved the remarkable feat of winning the nationwide local government job award hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor for two consecutive years as a result of its enthusiastic efforts to create innovative jobs and revitalize the local economy.

Also, through an agreement with professional vocational training institutions, Seoul Jungbu and Nambu Technical Training Centers, the district is intensifying support for employment linkage by providing vocational education accessible to various groups, including vulnerable populations and youth preparing for independence.
