This meeting between former President Park and the People Power Party leadership comes one month after their meeting at former President Park's residence in September. With less than six months remaining until the general election, this meeting could further consolidate support among conservative voters. Last month, at the Daegu residence, former President Park and the ruling party leadership also discussed the upcoming general election. At that time, former President Park told Representative Kim, "As the leader of the ruling party, please lead the next year's general election well and secure victory," and the two exchanged views on achievements such as leading the election to victory when former President Park was the party leader in 2004.
