Dong-Eui Science University held its 50th anniversary ceremony at 3 p.m. on the 24th in the Jinri Hall Convention Hall.
About 200 university members, including President Kim Young-do, attended the ceremony, which proceeded in the order of opening ceremony, national anthem, history and progress report, commendation ceremony (long-term service award), president's commemorative speech, members' resolution, and commemorative photo session.
At the event, the members shouted resolutions for realizing world-class higher vocational education and sustainable university development, including ▲ nurturing future talents through ACE vocational education ▲ participating in local industries through ACE employment ▲ leading lifelong vocational education through sustainable ESG management.

In his commemorative speech, President Kim Young-do said, “Our university feels a strong sense of mission and responsibility to further strengthen the achievements and capabilities of the past 50 years amid difficulties and to pursue the continuous development of the university toward the next 100 years.”
He added, “Our university will do its best by gathering the will of all members for educational innovation and university development to leap forward as a world-class higher vocational education institution that responds to changes in the educational environment of the digital revolution era and industrial demands and to successfully nurture creative and convergent talents.”
