Gwangsan District Council of Gwangju Conducts '4 Major Violence Prevention Education'

On the 24th, the Gwangsan District Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City conducted a '4 Major Violence Prevention Education' session for council members and office staff.

This education was organized to foster proper gender sensitivity and establish sound values necessary for creating a safe social environment.

Baek Hee-jung, the representative of the Korea Gender-Responsive Budget Network, served as the instructor and explained the improvement of awareness regarding sexual violence, as well as prevention and response methods, through case studies of the four major types of violence: sexual harassment, sexual violence, prostitution, and domestic violence.
