Representative Dong-gu restaurants such as ‘SsangSsang Duck Hanmadang,’ ‘Mahoe Jangsan Squid,’ ‘Hometown Tea Field Restaurant,’ ‘Shin Ana Eel,’ and ‘Fish Market & Galbi Jjim Master’ also participated and achieved good results. This year, the event was combined with various side events such as resident tasting experiences, a meal kit exhibition hall, and cake-making workshops, creating a food culture festival where residents could see, taste, and enjoy.
Yoon Seok-jun, Mayor of Daegu Dong-gu Office, said, “This contest will be remembered as a special moment where the taste, art, and culture of Dong-gu come together as one,” adding, “We will spare no administrative support to ensure that the taste of Dong-gu is widely known and that Dong-gu becomes a place where tourists want to return and enjoy.”
