A landmark complex of unprecedented height is set to be built in Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi Province. The protagonist is ‘Nokyang Station The CL59,’ which will be developed as a large complex with a total of 2,518 households and a maximum height of 59 floors in the ultra-station area of Nokyang Station.
Nokyang Station The CL59 will be constructed in the Ganeung-dong area of Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi Province, consisting of 8 buildings ranging from 6 basement floors to a maximum of 59 floors above ground, with 2,518 apartments sized between 65 and 137㎡ and 90 officetel units. The apartments are composed by type as follows: ▲65㎡ 840 units ▲75㎡A 410 units ▲75㎡B 635 units ▲84㎡A 426 units ▲84㎡B 205 units ▲137㎡P 2 units.
This complex is expected to see an increase in future value due to various large-scale benefits concentrated in Uijeongbu, combined with the convenience of an ultra-station area and the pride of being a landmark complex of this scale.
Nokyang Station The CL59 is located in the ultra-station area of Nokyang Station. It offers convenient access to Seoul via Line 1 passing through Nokyang Station, and the transportation conditions are expected to improve further with the planned opening of the GTX-C line at Uijeongbu Station, just two stops away. Once opened as planned, travel from Uijeongbu Station to Samsung Station will take about 20 minutes.
In addition, the station area surrounding Nokyang Station has been designated as an urban development project zone and development is accelerating. Including the site of Nokyang Station The CL59, various shopping and cultural facilities will be established in the future, positioning the northern Uijeongbu area as a self-sufficient hub.
Moreover, the nearby development of the Ujeong Public Housing District, with 4,017 households, is progressing rapidly with a target completion in the first half of 2027, which is expected to create synergistic effects when linked.
The development of U.S. military base sites, which had hindered development in the Uijeongbu area, is also accelerating. In particular, the Camp Red Cloud will host the Design Center Cluster (CRC), Camp Stanley will attract and develop IT companies, and Camp Jackson and Camp Kyle will also be developed to create quality jobs and transform the city into a business-friendly environment.
Furthermore, large-scale developments are continuing both inside and outside Uijeongbu City, such as the creation of the Gyeonggi Northern Regional Administrative Town and the establishment of the nearby Yangju Technovalley, signaling an increase in the value of the Uijeongbu real estate market.
Nokyang Station The CL59 is also well-equipped with living infrastructure. It is close to the Seoul Ring Expressway and provides easy access to Uijeongbu IC and Howon IC on the Metropolitan Area 1st Circular Expressway. There is abundant shopping infrastructure such as Shinsegae Department Store and Fashion Rodeo Street. For parents and prospective residents, educational facilities like Nokyang Elementary School and Uijeongbu Middle and High Schools are nearby.
With excellent location conditions and future value, Nokyang Station The CL59 is being built through a local housing cooperative project. It is a safe project site with 100% secured land use rights, and having completed establishment approval, it is now at the stage just before construction begins, with the final recruitment of cooperative members underway. POSCO E&C (formerly POSCO Construction) has been selected as the construction company.
Except for penthouses, Nokyang Station The CL59 mainly consists of small to medium-sized units ranging from 65 to 84㎡, which is expected to attract high interest from actual users. In line with the scale of the large complex, various facilities such as a fitness club, golf club, and central plaza will be created. Especially, as the tallest landmark complex in Uijeongbu with 59 floors and serving as the new gateway to northeastern Gyeonggi, a rhythmic and dynamic curtain wall design will be applied to the exterior to provide symbolic significance.
