Jongno-gu and Jogyesa Temple to Hold Job Fair on 25th from 11 AM to 3 PM with Consultations, Resume Consulting, and Education Information... On-site Interviews at Corporate Recruitment Booth with 12 Participants Including Employers and Temples... 55 Positions Expected to be Filled
Jongno-gu (District Mayor Jeong Munheon) will hold the 'Jongno-gu & Jogyesa Employment Fair' on the 25th in the front yard of Daeungjeon Hall at Jogyesa Temple (55 Ujeongguk-ro).
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event will focus on ▲ on-site interviews and hiring between employers and job seekers ▲ employment counseling and resume consulting ▲ vocational training counseling and provision of employment education information.
Additionally, a total of 22 booths will be set up, including employment support centers (Jongno Job Plus Center, Jogyesa Job Sharing Center), related organizations (Seoul Employment and Labor Office Seoul Employment Center, Seoul Senior Employment Support Center, etc.), and corporate recruitment booths (12 hiring companies). Various experiential events such as calligraphy and making eco-friendly solid shampoo bars will also be held.
Among them, the corporate recruitment booths will conduct on-site interviews to hire 55 people from 12 local hiring companies (Lina Life Insurance, Somerset Palace Seoul, Amin Nursing Hospital, etc.) and temples (Jogyesa, Bongseonsa).
On the day, District Mayor Jeong Munheon and Jogyesa Chief Monk Wonmyeong will also serve as one-day employment counselors. This is to listen to job seekers' employment-related difficulties and to strengthen community bonds.
Those wishing to participate in the fair can apply in advance through the Jongno Job Plus Center on the 2nd floor of the district office or visit Jogyesa on the day without any separate procedures. Bringing an ID card allows on-site resume writing and interview opportunities.
Meanwhile, Jongno-gu has been striving to stabilize local employment by holding the fair once or twice a year since signing a business agreement with Jogyesa in 2013.
District Mayor Jeong Munheon stated, “This event was prepared to carefully address the difficulties of residents urgently seeking employment and to find suitable talent for companies in need of manpower. We will continue to devise quality policies to revitalize employment and make Jongno a place abundant with jobs.”
