The Bulmaminduhangjaeng Memorial Pallyongsan Walking Festival Held Successfully

Changwon Special Mayor Hong Nampyo: "The Buma Democratic Uprising is
a Great Pride and Noble Value of the Citizens"

Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 22nd that the "14th Pallyongsan Walking Festival in Commemoration of the Buma Democratic Uprising," held to reflect on the noble spirit of the Buma Democratic Uprising, took place at the Masan Free Trade Zone Stadium and the Pallyongsan Bongam Reservoir area.

Hosted by the Buma Democratic Uprising Commemoration Association and organized by the Pallyongsan Walking Festival Organizing Committee, with support from Changwon Special City and Gyeongsangnam-do, the event was successfully held with about 2,700 citizens participating.

Changwon Special City Mayor Hong Nampyo attended the 14th Pallyongsan Walking Festival commemorating the Bu-Ma Democratic Uprising.

At the venue, various programs such as health stretching, prize draws, and food booths were offered. The walking course was approximately 5 km, starting from the Free Trade Zone Stadium and circling the Pallyongsan Bongam Reservoir trail.

Marking its 14th year, the Buma Democratic Uprising Commemoration Pallyongsan Walking Festival was held to honor the peaceful symbol and noble values of the Buma Democratic Uprising. Many citizens, including friends and families, participated to enjoy the clear autumn weather and the beautiful Bongam Reservoir, having a joyful time.

Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, said in his congratulatory speech, "The Buma Democratic Uprising is a great source of pride for our citizens. It is a noble value that must be fully passed on to future generations." He added, "I hope the participants enjoy the autumn atmosphere throughout the area and have a meaningful time reflecting on the significance of the uprising."
