- Visiting AI Healthcare Service
- Primary Service Completed Successfully... Concluded with Great Success
AI Platform announced on the 16th that it has signed a business agreement with the Gwangju Metropolitan Support Center of the Korea Senior Citizens Association Gwangju Federation. Through this agreement, AI Platform will provide a customized "Visiting AI Healthcare Service" to promote the health of elderly people using senior centers in Gwangju City.
The Korea Senior Citizens Association Gwangju Metropolitan Federation, which operates the senior center metropolitan support center based on five branches (Dong-gu, Seo-gu, Nam-gu, Buk-gu, Gwangsan-gu), currently consists of 1,368 senior centers located in Gwangju City and 53,337 members, contributing to the promotion of senior center revitalization projects and elderly welfare enhancement.
The "Visiting AI Healthcare Service" was first introduced on the 11th by visiting Hakdong 1 Humansia Senior Center located in Dong-gu, Gwangju. The event was a great success with over 50 applicants, far exceeding the initially expected 20 participants. The service is scheduled to be introduced sequentially to about 50 contracted senior centers by the end of 2023.
Additionally, the "Visiting AI Healthcare Service" is being developed to create synergy by linking with "Behelsee," which AI Platform has been operating since 2021. By integrating information on retinal diseases and dementia detected through the company's patented fundus camera with Behelsee, it enables verification and management of medical data, while simultaneously providing one-stop medical services and convenience and benefits in managing medical data. Users can simply register their health records (medical MyData) with Behelsee to receive medical convenience services and benefits such as points.
Shin Hyung-seop, CEO of AI Platform, stated, "It has been regrettable that vulnerable medical groups often miss regular check-ups due to cost burdens or inconvenience of travel." He added, "Through this agreement, we aim to help reduce the economic cost burden for the elderly and create an efficient medical MyData ecosystem through data collection."
