Seoul National University Hospital Ranks No.1 in National Brand Competitiveness for General Hospitals for 8 Consecutive Years

Seoul National University Hospital announced on the 20th that it has been ranked first in the general hospital category for eight consecutive years in the '2023 National Brand Competitiveness Index (NBCI)' survey conducted by the Korea Productivity Center.

A representative from Seoul National University Hospital expressed, "We are fulfilling our role as the national central hospital through essential medical care and education, research, treatment, and public healthcare focused on severe, rare, and intractable diseases, while pioneering future medicine as a digital and bio hub."

Seoul National University Hospital is preparing to open the country's first independent short-term care facility for children, the 'Nexsu Children Integrated Care Center (Dotori House),' at the end of this month, aiming to comprehensively improve the quality of life for severely ill pediatric patients and their families.

Additionally, aiming to realize a next-generation medical system based on clinical genomic data, the hospital is building a precision medicine knowledge bank for effective treatment of cancer, rare, and chronic diseases in Korea.

Leveraging its extensive experience in entrusted operations and public health care, Seoul National University Hospital plans to strengthen the regional essential medical delivery system through the opening of the National Fire Hospital in 2025, and the Baegot Seoul National University Hospital and Gijang Heavy Ion Therapy Center in 2027.
