Boseong-gun Dementia Safety Center Establishes Comprehensive Dementia Safety Network

Creating Dementia-Friendly Environments and Designating Dementia-Friendly Stores

Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 18th that the 'Dementia Safety Center' designated dementia-leading organizations and dementia-safe franchise stores as part of its dementia-friendly environment creation project.

This year, the dementia-leading organizations designated in Boseong-gun are ▲ Okpyeong Church and ▲ Marpe Rehabilitation Daycare Center, totaling two locations.

The dementia-safe franchise stores designated are ▲ Muar Hair, ▲ Highbrow, ▲ Paris Baguette (Jeonnam Boseong Branch), and ▲ Taera Hair, totaling four locations.

With this additional designation, the total number of dementia-leading organizations in Boseong-gun has expanded to 14, and dementia-safe franchise stores to 7.

Members of the dementia-leading organizations and dementia-safe franchise stores receive dementia partner education and participate in building a dense community dementia safety net so that dementia patients and their families can live with peace of mind.

Additionally, in cooperation with the Dementia Safety Center, they will participate in various community dementia overcoming activities such as ▲ providing dementia-related information, ▲ encouraging early dementia screening, ▲ promoting projects to prevent and support missing elderly dementia patients, and ▲ participating in dementia awareness improvement promotions and campaigns.
