The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will provide disinfection and quarantine services to 51 businesses designated as 'Good Price Stores' by the 24th.
Good Price Stores are businesses that offer services at prices lower than the regional average, contributing to the stabilization of local prices. They are designated by local governments after comprehensively considering cleanliness, hygiene, quality, and service.
Suwon City will carry out disinfection and quarantine services in two phases. In the first phase, the interiors, kitchens, and food storage areas of 27 dining establishments will be disinfected and quarantined. In the second phase, the interiors of 24 businesses including laundry, dental, beauty, and bath services will be disinfected and quarantined.
The disinfection and quarantine services include ▲diagnosis of hygiene environment and pest occurrence status ▲ultrafine particle space spraying and pest control using eco-friendly insecticides and disinfectants ▲trap installation ▲and related tasks.
In addition to disinfection and quarantine services, Suwon City provides 120,000 KRW worth of volume-based waste bags, Good Price Store plaques, necessary supplies for each business, and additional points for small business management environment improvement support projects. Among the Good Price Stores, those affiliated with local currency acceptances also receive support for card payment fees.
A Suwon City official stated, "We will revitalize Good Price Stores that contribute to stabilizing local prices with affordable prices and excellent services despite difficult economic conditions, aiming to stabilize local prices. We will ensure that quality services are provided to citizens and tourists."
