Safe Ticket Transactions Possible Through Tokket
Utilizing Blockchain Technology to Track Illegal Trades
The online platform 'Tokket,' based on non-fungible tokens (NFTs), is adopting enhanced technology to create a safer and more convenient online trading environment. The online trading market has long been considered an area urgently needing improvement due to frequent safety issues.
On the 19th, Junseop Lee, CEO of the startup 'Gumper,' stated, "Tokket has introduced support for digital content creation, illegal transaction tracking using blockchain technology, and a more convenient transfer system."
Tokket is an app originally developed by Gumper that enables NFT issuance, exchange, and community features. It allows anyone, not just experts, to issue NFTs and create communities and chat rooms for users holding NFTs.
Our lives have been enriched by various digital contents distributed via the internet, but there are many side effects. Problems such as the emergence of scalpers when trading tickets online or losing contact with the transferor when needing to receive a transfer have occurred. Gumper developed a system to stabilize skyrocketing ticket prices through a price ceiling system and to ease these issues by making transactions easy and simple, aiming to create a healthy content distribution market.
To ensure safe and convenient transactions, illegal transaction tracking technology using blockchain has been introduced. The transfer and receipt processes are transparently disclosed, and transfers can be made transparently through the price ceiling system. This reduces concerns about transaction methods that cause issues like scalping. Not only tickets but also transferable memberships such as golf clubs or fitness centers can be easily and simply transferred and received. Therefore, it reduces the hassle of meeting in person for transactions and allows safer and more convenient use via mobile. According to CEO Lee, various functions for digital content like memberships are being tested with partner companies.
Additionally, users can safely and transparently create and trade digital content. All information about digital content on Tokket is recorded on the blockchain, utilizing the blockchain’s excellent security. When content created on Tokket is resold, the transaction fee must be paid to the creator. CEO Lee explained, "We are considering further development to allow transactions only under transfer conditions desired by the creator."
CEO Lee also said, "If Tokket’s features of 'transaction tracking' and 'transfer system' are actively utilized, legitimate transfer transactions rather than illegal trades will increase." He added, "As digital content grows, the importance of distribution management is also emphasized. We will make Tokket a hub for digital content that everyone can use with confidence."
