On the 15th, Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, announced that Jo Yujin and Kim Seong-ui, residents of Buk-myeon, Uljin-gun, won the Grand Prize and Gold Prize respectively at the '2023 Korea Healing Food Expo' held at the Ilsan Lake Park Fountain Plaza.

The 2023 Korea Healing Food Expo is hosted by the Korea Healing Food Industry Association and supported by institutions such as the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education.
At this event, Jo Yujin won the Grand Prize, the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award, with her dish Bak-sok Pine Mushroom Soup, and Kim Seong-ui won the Gold Prize with Pine Mushroom Abalone Porridge.
Jo and Kim plan to showcase these healing foods at a farm restaurant, supported by Uljin-gun, which is scheduled to open by the end of this year. They expressed their desire to commercialize Songi, a specialty product of Uljin, to widely promote the local flavors.
County Governor Son Byeong-bok stated, “We will continue to develop various healing foods that align with the slogan ‘The Breath of Korea, Uljin’ and spare no effort or support to achieve the era of 10 million tourists in Uljin.”
