Donation of Funds Raised from G-Valley 'Sseudam Running' Campaign
The Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (President Lee Sang-hoon) announced on the 17th that it raised 2 million won through the 'G-Valley Ssedam Running Campaign' held during G-Valley Week last month.
Ssedam Running is a Korean term for 'picking up trash while running or walking,' which is a translation of the activity known as 'plogging.' This campaign was conducted in collaboration with the Korea Industrial Complex Managers Association Seoul, targeting about 200 employees of companies located in G-Valley (Seoul Digital Industrial Complex). Each participant donated 10,000 won, achieving the final goal of 2 million won.
Employees of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Seoul Regional Headquarters and tenant companies are participating together in the "Sseudam Running" campaign at the Seoul Digital Industrial Complex.
The collected funds were donated on the 16th to the Geumcheon Future Scholarship Foundation, a local scholarship foundation, in the presence of Yuseong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon District, and others. Kim Sung-ki, head of the Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, said, "Through this campaign, we were able to practice eco-friendly values together with companies in the Seoul Digital Industrial Complex and also promote workers' health." He added, "We will continue to promote various activities that contribute to the local community and fulfill social responsibilities to help spread ESG management."
