Yeongju City Council Opens the 276th Extraordinary Session on the 16th

Processed a total of 28 agenda items over a 12-day schedule

The Yeongju City Council of Gyeongbuk Province (Chairman Sim Jae-yeon) will hold the 276th extraordinary session from October 16 to 27, lasting 12 days.

During this extraordinary session, the council will receive reports on the administrative work status for 2023 and the major tasks for 2024, and will inspect key issues through on-site visits to major project sites within the jurisdiction.


Additionally, the council will review a total of 28 agenda items, including 19 ordinances (2 of which are proposed by council members), 8 consent items, and 1 public property matter. They will also adopt the 2023 administrative audit plan to be conducted during the 2nd regular session of the 277th council, thereby beginning full preparations for the administrative audit.


The ordinances proposed by council members include the partial amendment ordinance on council members' legislative activity expenses, monthly allowances, and travel expenses (led by Councilor Kim Ju-young), and the ordinance on dementia management and support in Yeongju City (led by Councilor Kim Jeong-sook).


Chairman Sim Jae-yeon stated, "Please make efforts to ensure that the projects planned and promoted throughout the year bear good results, and be meticulous in preparing the plan so that the administrative audit scheduled for next month can be conducted thoroughly."
