Sogang University Graduate School of Media and Communication announced on the 16th that it is recruiting new master's degree students for the first semester of the 2024 academic year (63rd class).

The recruitment of new students will take place over two weeks from the 30th of this month to the 13th of next month. The program is divided into four specialized majors: ▲ Journalism and Information (Journalism, Publishing, Broadcasting) ▲ Strategic Communication (Advertising, PR, Health Communication) ▲ Media Education ▲ Media & Entertainment (Digital Media, Theater and Film, Sports Entertainment). It aims to provide advanced professional education and re-education for media specialists through a curriculum that combines theory and practice. Preference is given to professionals in related fields, as well as elementary, middle, and high school teachers, clergy, and social and religious organization instructors interested in media education.
In March last year, Sogang University renamed its former Graduate School of Journalism to the Graduate School of Media and Communication, aiming to provide diverse communication education utilizing new media aligned with the development of media technology and media trends. Lee Soo-young, Dean of the Graduate School of Media and Communication at Sogang University, stated, “We will strive to educate ‘original professionals with leadership’ who lead the development of new media technologies and social changes.”
