Strengthening Medical Services and Supporting Vulnerable Groups in Healthcare
Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, and Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital signed a business agreement on the 12th for "mutual exchange cooperation and medical support for vulnerable groups."
Kim Kwang-yeol, Mayor of Yeongdeok County, and Lee Cheol-hee, Director of Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital, signed a business agreement.
This agreement was made to promote the health of Yeongdeok residents and to eliminate medical blind spots in the area. Yeongdeok-gun has also been working to strengthen public medical services in the region, having signed a similar agreement with Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital on February 23.
About 15 officials from both sides attended the signing ceremony, including Kim Gwang-yeol, Mayor of Yeongdeok-gun; Lee Cheol-hee, Director of Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital; Jung Yong-hoon, Deputy Director; Son Deok-su, Chairman of Yeongdeok County Council; and Kim Jae-hee, Director of Yeongdeok Public Health Center.
The main contents of this business agreement include ▲medical support and health promotion for vulnerable groups among Yeongdeok residents ▲provision of convenient medical services for Yeongdeok residents ▲discount benefits for health checkups at Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital for Yeongdeok residents ▲and other areas of mutual cooperation.
Mayor Kim Gwang-yeol stated, "Through this agreement, we expect to establish a continuous cooperation system for the mutual growth of the region and the university hospital, provide high-quality medical services to residents, implement various medical supports, support the healthy lives of residents, and play a significant role in eliminating medical blind spots."
