SPC Coffee@Works announced on the 13th the launch of ‘Oh! Seoul Blend (OH!SEOUL BLEND)’, made using coffee cultivated domestically in Korea.
Coffee@Works’ Oh! Seoul Blend is a product planned to support the expansion of sales channels for Korean coffee farms and the development of the coffee industry. It was developed using coffee directly cultivated by SPC at the ‘Naro’ coffee farm in Goheung, Jeonnam. Based on SPC’s years of research on coffee fermentation processing, the blend highlights the terroir of Goheung Naro coffee while maintaining a balanced, high-quality taste and aroma by optimally combining Colombian and Papua New Guinea beans.
The Goheung Naro anaerobic fermented coffee, which offers the fragrant aroma of cherries, the sweetness of apricots, and the nutty flavor of hazelnuts, undergoes a 48-hour fermentation in tanks with wine yeast after the cherries are harvested and the pulp is removed. SPC closely collaborated with the Naro coffee farm throughout the cultivation and processing stages to enhance the product’s completeness.
The new product is available at five locations in Incheon Airport (T1 Kiosk, Airport Store 1, Airport Store 2, T2 Landside, T2 Airside), the gateway to Korea, allowing visitors to enjoy coffee that embodies the taste of Korea. It is sold as brewed coffee, and the packaging features Hangul shapes to add meaning.
