2023 Jungnang Youth Career Fair Successfully Held

Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) successfully held the 2023 Jungnang Youth Career Fair at Yongma Waterfall Park on the 12th.

The 'Jungnang Youth Career Fair' was organized to help young people who are contemplating their career paths experience various occupations, understand their abilities and interests, and find suitable future dreams.

This experience-oriented fair featured 30 specialized high schools in fields such as the 4th Industrial Revolution, nursing, and taxation, along with 11 occupational groups including police and firefighting.

The fair was divided into a career and academic zone where attendees could learn more about specialized high schools of interest, a job experience zone where participants could try out roles such as barista, perfumer, and police officer, and a community network zone including essential village facilities like welfare centers and human rights centers.

Approximately 2,500 students freely participated according to their interests and curiosities, spending time reflecting on and exploring their career paths.

In particular, the career counseling booth, staffed by professional dedicated teachers to help students find desired departments and related occupations, attracted many students seriously considering their careers and interests.

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “I hope this career fair was a meaningful time for middle school students who are beginning to accumulate various experiences and design their own futures based on those experiences,” adding, “We will continue to prepare practical programs that help students pursue diverse dreams.”
