Now in its 12th year, the Three Religions Joint Bazaar began in 2008 at the suggestion of Son In-ung, senior pastor of Deoksu Church. The three major religious organizations?Gilsangsa Temple (Chief Monk Deok-il), Deoksu Church (Senior Pastor Kim Man-jun), and Seongbuk-dong Catholic Church (Parish Priest Joseph Kim Hyung-mok)?have continued the event with the purpose of "uniting in love to serve together, sharing love despite different religions, and giving hope to neighbors in need with warm love."

Each year, the event is hosted in rotation by each organization. The proceeds from the Three Religions Joint Bazaar will be donated as scholarships to local youth.

Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, said, "I support this event prepared by the three religious organizations coming together in spirit to ensure its success, and I will continue to support the steady continuation of this meaningful event.
