"7 Hours Hidden Inside a Corpse as Dad Said" Hamas Massacre Survivor

Ground Troop Deployment Preparations and Rising Concerns Over Escalation

Survivors who participated in the Israel Music Festival revealed that they survived by hiding under the bodies of the deceased for seven hours.

According to YTN on the 12th, during Hamas's attack on the 7th, Lee Sashi, who was attending a music festival at the Re'im Kibbutz in southern Israel, heard gunfire and entered a nearby bomb shelter with about 30 people. However, shortly after, Hamas militants discovered the people hiding in the bunker and opened fire on them. By the time they were rescued seven hours later, only 10 people were still alive.

Sashi described the horrific situation, saying, "Hamas started shooting and throwing grenades into the bomb shelter without a door." She recalled, "Fifteen grenades and over 1,000 bullets were fired." She contacted her relatives in Israel to rescue herself and others, barely managing to survive.

According to a recording released by the media group Visegrad 24, a girl named Yuvali also survived amidst the horrific gunfire. Following her father's advice, she hid among piles of bodies.

After the Hamas militants' terror attack, the girl called her father, pleading, "There are too many bodies. Please send the police." Her father urgently told her, "Stay quiet and hide," then advised, "Take a deep breath and hide among the bodies as if you are dead."

Ultimately, Yuvali followed her father's advice and hid among the bodies for seven hours, and was safely rescued by Israeli soldiers after seven hours.

Meanwhile, according to foreign media on the 12th, Israel is continuing airstrikes in response to Hamas's rocket attacks and is reportedly considering deploying ground forces soon. As the Israeli military launched airstrikes in southern Lebanon, concerns about escalation are becoming more apparent. About 2,000 casualties have been reported on both sides five days after the war began.

Having already mobilized hundreds of thousands of reservists, the Israeli military is concentrating tanks and heavy weapons not only around the Gaza Strip but also near the border with Lebanon, engaging in sporadic clashes with Hamas and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
