Participation in Automechanika Dubai Exhibition
Parts, Equipment, Accessories, and Car Wash Products
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 12th that six small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the area recorded a total of 109 export consultation cases worth 8.4 million USD (approximately 11.28 billion KRW) at the '2023 Automechanika Dubai Exhibition.'
Held from the 2nd to the 4th at the World Trade Center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), the '2023 Automechanika Dubai Exhibition' is the largest automotive parts exhibition in the Middle East. The exhibition showcased a variety of related products including automotive parts and equipment, accessories, and car wash supplies.

For this exhibition, Hwaseong City supported six local companies with participation fees and other expenses.
During the exhibition, New Auto Precision, a water pump manufacturer, signed an export contract worth 730,000 USD with buyers from the UAE and Egypt, while Yuchang High-Tech, which produces automotive oil seals, achieved results by promoting a sample contract worth 56,000 USD, the city explained.
A representative from New Auto Precision stated, "The UAE relies heavily on imports for most automotive parts, and there is also a large volume of re-exports to neighboring countries. Through participation in this exhibition, we expect to expand exports not only to the Middle East but also to adjacent African regions."
Jung Myung-geun, mayor of Hwaseong City, said, "We will continue to actively promote various trade support projects to help local export companies develop export channels."
