K2 announced on the 12th that it will launch the 'Thin Air Superlight,' which maximizes lightness.
The Thin Air Superlight features 'Thindown,' a down fabric applying innovative down compression technology, making it light and warm. Designed for lightweight performance, the men's size 100 weighs 600g, which the company explains is about the weight of a venti-sized cup of coffee.
Thindown is the world's only down fabric patented for its down compression technology, and K2 is the first in Korea to exclusively use this material. By reducing volume and eliminating seams, it prevents heat from escaping or cold air (cold spots) from seeping in, providing excellent insulation.
The Thin Air Superlight applies Thindown on the back panel, while the front panel and sleeves are filled with goose down insulation. It features filling certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS), which ensures animal welfare by not forcibly collecting feathers from live animals.
The men's products come in four colors: Khaki Ginger, Urban Charcoal, Grayshy Beige, and Black, while the women's products are available in three colors: Green Clay, Cappuccino, and Black.
