Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will hold the "Middle-aged and Senior Hope Employment Fair" for middle-aged job seekers preparing for reemployment at 1 p.m. on the 19th at the FKI Tower Conference Center.
The district prepared an employment fair that provides a one-stop service from on-site interviews to job counseling and recruitment for middle-aged and senior citizens who have high employment capabilities and willingness but face difficulties in reemployment due to lack of information.
Held together with the Hankyunghyeop Middle-aged Tomorrow Center, Seoul Southern Employment and Labor Office, and Geumcheon-gu, this employment fair will operate a total of 39 booths, including a corporate recruitment hall conducting 1:1 on-site interviews, an auxiliary event hall providing one-stop employment services, and an employment support hall guiding personalized employment support programs.
The corporate recruitment hall will feature 25 companies including ▲Korea McDonald's ▲Hyundai Green Food ▲CJ Freshway ▲KTcs. Current HR managers will provide detailed corporate information such as the company's ideal talent, job descriptions, and welfare systems, and conduct recruitment through 1:1 on-site interviews with job seekers.
An auxiliary event hall offering about 10 types of one-stop employment services for job seekers visiting the fair is also prepared, including resume consultation, resume photo shooting, and senior job guidance. Unique booths such as job recommendations based on color personality analysis tests, stress tests, and AI-based interview program experiences are also available.
Finally, the employment support hall will provide customized job counseling and institution-specific employment support programs for middle-aged and senior citizens through Yeongdeungpo-gu Job Plus Center, Hankyunghyeop Middle-aged Tomorrow Center, Seoul Southern Employment and Labor Office, and Geumcheon-gu Job Center.
Through this fair, a total of about 300 jobs in various fields such as dining, office work, and sales will be offered. Any middle-aged or senior citizen wishing for reemployment or career transition can participate by bringing an ID card, resume, and self-introduction letter on the day of the event.
In addition, the district plans to continue efforts to connect job seekers to employment after the fair by providing customized recruitment information considering job fields and individual characteristics.
Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, said, "I hope this employment fair will ease the difficulties of reemployment for middle-aged and senior citizens and provide a good opportunity for companies seeking employees to find excellent talent," adding, "We will continue to discover job policies that residents need most to revitalize the employment market."
