Galaxia Moneytree Issues Korea's First Korean Air Gift Card

Galaxia Moneytree, the No.1 domestic mobile gift card issuer, announced on the 11th that it will issue and operate Korean Air gift cards. This is the first time in Korea that a monetary gift card allowing the purchase or gifting of airline tickets has been launched.

The Korean Air gift card is an online voucher that can be used like cash when purchasing airline tickets on the domestic website and mobile app. It can only be purchased on a dedicated site and is available in various denominations ranging from 50,000 KRW to 500,000 KRW.

This gift card can be used as a payment method for purchasing international and domestic flights departing from Korea, as well as for additional services such as excess baggage, paid seats, and pet transportation. The validity period is 5 years.

Additionally, in line with its purpose, users can select card images for occasions such as congratulations or thanks and gift them to others via Kakao AlimTalk or email.

Not only can purchasers use it themselves, but it can also be conveniently gifted, so we expect sales to grow rapidly as travelers surge in the post-COVID era.”
