Distributor Walt Disney Company Korea announced on the 10th that Marvel Studios' new film 'The Marvels' will be released on the 8th of next month, two days earlier than in North America. It is actor Park Seo-joon's Hollywood debut. He plays the new Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) character Prince Yan. In the trailer, he wears armor with a bluish tint and leads an army. He also dances among the crowd.
'The Marvels' tells the story of Carol Danvers, who protects the universe, facing a crisis where her location switches with Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan every time she uses her powers, leading to a new team-up with them. It is a sequel to 'Captain Marvel' released in 2018, directed by Nia DaCosta. The cast includes Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, Teyonah Parris, Zawe Ashton, and Samuel L. Jackson.
