On the 7th, Dongmyung University College of Companion Animals was invited to and attended the opening event of the 'International SUP Paddleboard Pro Competition & 1st Companion Animal SUP Paddleboard Competition' held at Gwangalli Beach, hosted by KAPP (Korea Paddle Surf Pro Association).
World soccer star coach Cha Bum-kun also joined the opening as a surprise guest.
KAPP is a corporation established to lay the foundation and develop paddle surfing in Korea, having hosted the APP World Tour in Korea for the first time.

Professor Kim Jong-gi of the Companion Animal Industry Design Department and Director Jo Jae-hyung of the Companion Animal Culture Center, who participated in the event, said, "Through this event, we felt the potential for Busan's companion animal industry to expand beyond Busan to the world," and added, "We will establish various programs and facilities for companion animals and their guardians."
