Three Palestinian Journalists Killed in Israeli Airstrikes

At least three Palestinian journalists were reported killed on the 10th (local time) due to armed clashes between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas.

According to foreign media on the day, three Palestinian journalists covering the situation in the Gaza Strip were killed in an Israeli airstrike. They were reportedly caught in the attack while covering Israel's airstrikes on residential buildings.

As a result, Hamas stated that the number of Palestinian journalists killed in the armed conflict between the two sides has risen to seven.

The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), an international press organization, urged the protection of journalists' safety, stating, "We must remember that journalists and civilians should not be targeted." They added, "Accurate reporting is crucial in crisis situations," and emphasized that "the media plays an important role in delivering news from the Gaza Strip and Israel to the world."

Earlier, after Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel in the early hours of the 7th, Israel imposed a blockade on the Gaza Strip and launched a full-scale retaliation. The death toll on both sides from this war has exceeded 1,600.
