On the 10th, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education held a mutual cooperation agreement ceremony with Naver Cloud (CEO Kim Yoo-won) for future-oriented innovation in education and administrative services.


Through this agreement, both organizations agreed to mutually cooperate in various educational fields, including the introduction of the Gyeongbuk Office of Education's school support comprehensive data room generative service using Naver's AI HyperCLOVA X, digital transformation of Gyeongbuk education utilizing Naver Cloud technology, and the creation of new value.

The Gyeongbuk Office of Education declared this year as the inaugural year of digital transformation and has expanded its scope through various projects since the beginning of the year. The school support comprehensive data room is a core project driving digital transformation.


The school support comprehensive data room, an administrative support system, will be the first in the nation to introduce Korea’s AI technology ‘HyperCLOVA X,’ newly developed by Naver Cloud, by integrating artificial intelligence technology to provide innovative and new services.


Unlike existing generative AI, which requires manual data processing and training by humans, the school support comprehensive data room utilizing AI can autonomously recognize and learn vast amounts of data and provide users with directly verifiable related source links, enabling accurate and rapid information delivery, thereby significantly reducing the workload for faculty and staff.


Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, stated, “By partnering with Naver Cloud, the nation’s top IT company, and proactively adopting digital new technologies including artificial intelligence, we will strive to become the global standard for digital education where students can freely pursue their dreams in a better digital educational environment, alongside the practice of the slogan ‘Bringing Teachers Closer to Children.’”
