Samsung Electronics Unveils No-Hole Solution
Available for Customers Purchasing 55- to 85-Inch TVs
Launching in Offline Stores from the 5th
Samsung Electronics announced on the 10th the launch of the 'Samsung TV No-Drill Solution,' which installs TVs on walls without drilling holes. This solution installs the TV on the wall by attaching a wall mount fixing device to the outlet box. Samsung Electronics has filed a patent for the application of load-bearing screws for TVs.
Customers can directly check the installation conditions for the Samsung TV No-Drill Solution. They need to verify whether the wall to be installed is a concrete load-bearing wall, whether there are four or more outlets in the center of the installation space, and whether the distance from the bottom of the outlet to the floor is at least 80cm.
When the service is requested, a professional electrical construction company visits in advance to check the feasibility of installation. If installation is deemed possible, after electrical work, a Samsung Electronics professional installer will install the TV on the wall.

Customers who own Samsung TVs released after 2021 with a screen diagonal length between 138cm (55-inch) and 214cm (85-inch) can use this solution. The fee is 300,000 KRW, with an additional electrical construction fee of 30,000 KRW. Applications have been accepted since the 5th at offline stores such as Samsung Stores and department stores nationwide. It will also be available through online channels like Samsung.com later.
A Samsung Electronics representative said, "We introduced the no-drill solution, for which we even filed a patent, to help customers who hesitate to install wall-mounted TVs due to drill marks left on the wall," adding, "We will continue to develop innovative products and strengthen various solutions and services to meet changing consumer lifestyles and demands."
