‘Let’s Get Rich Together’ RichRich Festival, Global Companies Participate

Kidzania, Ceragem, HiteJinro, Liripe Launch

Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam, has planned an experiential event with global companies for the Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival, held under the theme "Let’s get Rich."


This project was realized with the participation of leading domestic beer company Hite Jinro, healthcare appliance company Ceragem, and KidZania, who responded enthusiastically to the festival.

‘Let’s Get Rich Together’ RichRich Festival, Global Companies Participate

The lineup of participating companies is abundant, fitting for a festival celebrating wealth, completing the Rich Rich Festival as an event enjoyed by the whole family visiting the festival grounds.


KidZania, headquartered in Mexico, is a globally renowned company operating large-scale indirect experience facilities for children in various countries. They run theme parks offering job experience in 27 cities across 20 countries worldwide.


Having participated in last year’s inaugural Rich Rich Festival and received positive feedback from visitors, KidZania is expanding the variety of job experiences this year. Children aged 4 to 16 can experience six types of jobs, including 119 Emergency Center, Dental Hospital, and Magic School, over the four days of the festival. The county installed the Rich Playground next to the KidZania job experience area to double the enjoyment for children.

Ceragem, a leading domestic healthcare appliance company, is also visiting Uiryeong. Ceragem has relocated its directly operated experience store, “Well Cafe,” to the festival site.


On the day of the festival, visitors holding receipts showing card payments of 20,000 KRW or more within the county will receive experience coupons. Up to about 90 people per day can enjoy healthy beverages while comfortably trying out medical devices. Unused coupons during the event period can be used at Ceragem Well Cafes nationwide, currently numbering 135 locations.


The Uiryeong Beer Festival “Golden Beer Festa,” held in collaboration with Hite Jinro, will also take place. The Uiryeong Beer Festival, embodying the wish for a prosperous life, resonates with the spirit of the Rich Rich Festival and has attracted great interest even before its opening.

At the festival, Hite Jinro’s Kelly Beer, a brand ambitiously launched ahead of its 100th anniversary next year, will be the main product sold. To revitalize the local economy, discount coupons of 1,000 KRW per bottle will be provided for use at 13 local restaurants and 9 food trucks. The “Rich Kwalkwal Show” DJ will boost the excitement of the beer festival, and various events and prizes will welcome tourists.


County Governor Oh Tae-wan said, “A good opportunity has been created where the two focal points of local economic revitalization and corporate promotion work properly, allowing everyone to get rich together,” adding, “Please hop on the Rich Rich Festival bus filled with happiness where you can eat well, play well, and rest well.”


Meanwhile, the 2023 Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival will be held from the 6th to the 9th at Seodong Living Park and the Sotbawi area.
