Three Family Members Found Dead in Officetel... Possible Suicide Suspected

A family was found dead in an officetel in Busan, prompting the police to launch an investigation.

According to the Busanjin Police Station, at around 10:47 a.m. on the 4th, the police discovered three people dead in an officetel in Bujeon-dong, Busanjin-gu: husband Mr. A (in his 60s), wife Mrs. B (in her 50s), and daughter Ms. C (in her 20s).

The police responded to a report from an acquaintance of Mr. A, who had been unreachable, and forcibly opened the officetel door to check the scene.

A police official stated, "Considering there were no signs of external intrusion, it is possible that this was a case of suicide," and added, "An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted on the morning of the 5th."
