Yeo Supreme Council Member, Channel A Interview
"Lee, Freed from Judicial Risk, Reappears as Sanggam Mama"
Kim Jae-won, a Supreme Council Member of the People Power Party, predicted on the 4th that Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, would return to party affairs and carry out a purge against the Bi-myeong (anti-Lee Jae-myung) faction, saying, "The top priority for the purge is Representative Seol Hoon." Recently, Representative Seol, who revealed that he voted in favor of the arrest motion against Lee, is a prominent pro-Nak (pro-Lee Nak-yon) politician.
Kim appeared on Channel A radio's 'Political Signal' that day and said, "Considering (Lee Jae-myung's) personal character and personality, he is truly a frightening person," adding, "It remains to be seen what kind of bloody purge he will carry out against the opposition within the party."
He continued, "I think Lee Sang-min, a Democratic Party lawmaker from the Bi-myeong faction, will probably be among the top ten targets for the purge."

He then likened Lee before the dismissal of his arrest warrant to 'Wiri Anchi' (a form of house arrest where a banished criminal was confined within a thorn fence around their residence).
Kim said, "Lee, against whom the warrant was requested, was like Yeonsangun confined in Ganghwado under Wiri Anchi, which means isolating the surroundings entirely and locking him inside, essentially enclosing him with a bamboo fence so he cannot move," adding, "I have said that Lee's leadership is now nonexistent."
He added, "Now that the arrest warrant has been dismissed and Lee is about to return to party affairs, he has escaped from Wiri Anchi and rather has returned to the Democratic Party as if His Majesty has reappeared," and predicted, "A bloody purge might take place."
