At around 1:28 PM on the 30th, six vehicles collided on National Route 14 near Mujeon-dong, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongnam.

According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters and Tongyeong Police Station, a passenger car traveling from Mineul Hill toward Gwanmunsa Intersection rear-ended a sports utility vehicle (SUV) ahead of it.

The impact pushed the vehicles forward, causing a chain collision involving a total of four passenger cars and two SUVs.

Eight people, including a woman in her 30s and a 7-year-old boy, sustained various injuries and were transported to the hospital.

The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident, considering that a secondary accident occurred during the recovery process after the collision involving one SUV and two passenger cars.
