[Asian Games] PUBG Mobile National Team Advances to Finals as Overwhelming No.1... Finals Tomorrow

Tomorrow's Finals: Competition Between 1st and 2nd Place Teams of Groups A and B

The 'Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile' national team competing in the Hangzhou Asian Games secured an overwhelming first place to advance to the finals.

The team achieved a dominant first place in the Group A semifinals held on the 30th at the Hangzhou eSports Center in China against Nepal, Taiwan, and Japan, advancing to the finals. In the finals held the following day, the top two teams from Groups A and B will compete for the medals.

PUBG Mobile is a competition where four teams, each consisting of four members, race through courses demonstrating driving and shooting skills. The competition involves completing four tracks, each composed of three shooting zones, and the team with the fastest combined completion time ranks first. Originally, the game involves about 100 players fighting until only one player or team remains, but for this Asian Games, the player-versus-player combat element was removed.

In the third track, Korea lost the lead to Taiwan due to consecutive driving mistakes. However, they quickly closed the score gap in their strong shooting segment and successfully overtook Taiwan, finishing first in 13 minutes and 37 seconds.
