Shooting team members Kim Jong-hyun (38), Kim Sang-do (36, both from KT), and Mo Dae-seong (29, Changwon City Hall) jointly won the bronze medal at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
The three athletes scored a combined total of 1748 points in the men's 50m rifle three positions event held on the 29th at the Fuyang Yinhu Sports Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, finishing third behind India (1769 points) and China (1763 points). They were 3 points ahead of fourth-place Kazakhstan (1745 points).

Kim Jong-hyun scored 196 points, hitting 16 out of 20 shots in the kneeling position (Slsa) with 10 points each, and nearly perfect 197 points in the prone position (Boksa). He scored 194 points in the standing position (Ipsa), achieving a total individual score of 587 points.
Kim Sang-do scored 192 points in the standing position but contributed to the medal win with 196 points in kneeling and 197 points in prone, totaling 585 points individually. This is his second medal in this competition, following the men's 10m air rifle team silver medal.
Mo Dae-seong recorded 192 points in kneeling, 195 points in prone, and 189 points in standing, with a total individual score of 576 points.
The men's 50m rifle three positions event serves as both the individual preliminary and the team competition. Kim Jong-hyun ranked 6th and Kim Sang-do ranked 7th, advancing to the individual final where eight competitors compete. The two athletes will compete for medal colors later that afternoon.
Mo Dae-seong placed 19th and did not qualify for the final.
