The event is planned and conducted with the purpose of providing the public with a unique 'forest travel' experience and opportunities for forest healing and relaxation, themed around healing in the forest for autumn travelers.
The forest welfare facilities where the event will take place include the National Forest Healing Center and seven National Forest Experience Centers in Hoengseong, Chilgok, Jangseong, Cheongdo, Daejeon, Chuncheon, and Naju, as well as seven National Healing Forests in Yangpyeong, Daegwallyeong, Daeunsan, Gimcheon, Jecheon, Yesan, and Gokseong.
