[Asian Games] Park Hyejin Wins Gold Medal in Women's 53kg Taekwondo Sparring

Park Hye-jin (Goyang City Hall) won the second gold medal for South Korea in the Taekwondo sparring event at the Hangzhou Asian Games.

On the afternoon of the 26th, Park Hye-jin claimed the Asian championship by defeating Taiwan's Lin Wei-jun 2-1 (7-6 7-9 12-9) in the women's 53kg final at the Taekwondo sparring event held at the Lin'an Sports Culture Exhibition Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.

Following Jang Jun (Korea Gas Corporation, men's 58kg) winning gold on the 25th, Park Hye-jin's victory marks the second gold medal for South Korea in Taekwondo sparring at this competition.
