Convenient and Fast Exit Possible by Using Pre-Exit Unmanned Payment Machine
The Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation (President Moon Young-pyo) announced that to revitalize Garak Mall and enhance its competitiveness, the location of the pre-unmanned payment machines within Garak Mall has been completely moved to the parking lot entrance, and guide signage has been installed to improve visibility and increase customer convenience.
Garak Mall offers consumers high satisfaction as it allows retail purchases at affordable prices from various stores of fruits and vegetables, seafood, and livestock within Garak Market, and also enables one-stop shopping for ingredients at large marts Danong and eco-friendly ingredient mart Saenong.
Since last year, Garak Market has introduced an unmanned payment system and currently operates unmanned payment at seven exits. As the expansion of unmanned payment booths at exits increased demand for pre-unmanned payment, the existing pre-unmanned payment machines were relocated to the parking lot entrance and visibility was secured with guide signage to enhance the convenience of parking lot users.
The guide signage for the pre-unmanned payment machines at Garak Mall includes hanging signs above the pre-payment machines, parking fee information boards, and wall-mounted signs to encourage users to utilize the pre-unmanned payment machines. Additionally, protruding signs were installed so that the location of the pre-unmanned payment machines can be recognized from a distance.
After the renovation and reopening in June, pre-unmanned payment machines were installed on basement level 3 of halls 1, 2, and 3 in the Garak Mall Theme Building to allow restaurant customers to conveniently use the pre-unmanned payment machines. Beam projector guide signs were also installed on the floor to make it easy to find the location of the payment machines.
Kwon Ki-tae, Head of the Environmental Development Headquarters, stated, “To minimize the inconvenience of Garak Mall customers settling payments at the tollbooth exit and to resolve traffic congestion caused by exit payments, we have reorganized 17 pre-unmanned payment machines, and we will continue to promote improvements in the parking lot usage environment.”
