To prepare for emergencies, the public health center's emergency medical care situation room and designated open hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies will operate, and the COVID-19 screening clinic will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Information on the operating dates and hours of hospitals and clinics in the Miryang area can be checked on the Miryang City website or obtained by calling the Health and Welfare Call Center (129), Emergency Situation Management Center (119), or the City and Province Call Center (120).

The city prioritizes citizen safety during the holiday period and will conduct safety inspections of multi-use facilities vulnerable to disasters and accidents to prevent any safety incidents.

Additionally, to minimize citizen inconvenience, Chuseok holiday garbage will be collected normally on September 28 and 30, and October 2 and 3. Furthermore, emergency work systems for traffic safety and water and sewage management will be established and measures taken accordingly.

Along with this, the city will visit low-income vulnerable groups, middle-aged single-person households, and social welfare facilities within the area to deliver consolation goods, fostering a warm sharing culture atmosphere.

To stabilize the livelihood economy, a comprehensive price countermeasure situation room will be set up, focusing on 20 key Chuseok seasonal items for inspection and management, and activities to enforce origin labeling compliance will be promoted.

Mayor Park Il-ho said, “We will concentrate administrative efforts to ensure that both citizens and visitors to Miryang can spend a safe and happy holiday during the Chuseok period by thoroughly implementing the comprehensive plan.”
