Gwangju Dong-gu 'Chungjang Renaissance Raon Festa' Held

Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will hold the 'Chungjang Renaissance Raon Festa' from the 5th to the 8th of next month in the Chungjang-ro and underground shopping mall areas.

Raon Festa is themed 'Filling Your Autumn with Joy' and is designed to promote consumption in Chungjang-ro and the underground shopping mall, as well as to revitalize the local economy.

During the event, visitors can enjoy ▲‘Happiness for 10,000 Won - Random Bundle,’ where only one out of 100 daily bundles contains the luck of one don of pure gold ▲‘Manhole Cover Art - Chungjang Printing,’ where participants complete manhole cover prints on T-shirts and canvas bags ▲‘Chungjang Night Market - Chungjang Beat,’ featuring a flea market, food trucks, busking, and special DJ performances ▲and the purchase mission program ‘Chungjang Capsule Tour,’ which involves exploring Chungjang-ro and the underground shopping mall to find lucky items within the commercial district.

There are also plenty of hands-on activities for visitors.

In the underground shopping mall, experience programs such as making pressed flower bookmarks, knot bracelets, handkerchiefs, and macram?, as well as magic performances, will be held.

At Chungjang-ro 5-ga, the ‘Sprout Heart Ring Making’ program, in collaboration with the Jewelry Support Center, awaits citizens. Additionally, the event will showcase the ‘Chungjang Chewy Cream Cheese Bread,’ developed in cooperation with Chungjang-ro Palace Bakery, which has a 50-year tradition.
