LIG Nex1 Cleans Gravesites and Pays Tribute at National Seoul Memorial Cemetery Ahead of Armed Forces Day
Employees and their families of LIG Nex1 (CEO Kim Ji-chan) visited the National Seoul Memorial Cemetery on the 23rd ahead of the 75th Armed Forces Day to pay their respects and participate in graveyard cleanup volunteer activities.
On this day, a volunteer group of about 40 LIG Nex1 employees and their families paid tribute at the Memorial Tower honoring the sacrifices of patriotic martyrs and war heroes, then carried out graveyard cleanup activities such as flower offerings and Taegeukgi flag replacements at 30 gravesites with which they have a sisterhood relationship.
Since 2010, LIG Nex1 has been the first defense industry company to establish a sisterhood relationship with the Seoul Memorial Cemetery. Every June, during the Month of Patriots and Veterans, employees participate, and on weekends in September ahead of Armed Forces Day, employees and their families annually engage in graveyard cleanup activities together.
