Galleria Department Store Hosts Various Events for Chuseok Holiday

Galleria Department Store announced on the 24th that all its branches will present a variety of events and pop-up stores along with the autumn regular sale in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.

The autumn regular sale will be held from September 28 to October 8. Approximately 200 brands across all Galleria branches will offer discounts ranging from 10% to 50%, and gift certificates of up to 7% will be given based on the purchase amount.

Various pop-ups including fashion and beauty are also prepared. At the Seoul Galleria Luxury Hall, the ‘POLYTERU’ pop-up store will be operated for the first time in the industry until the 5th of next month. POLYTERU is a domestic brand launched in 2018 with a strong fan base. To commemorate the Galleria pop-up, popular items such as the ‘1011 Galleria Stadium Jacket’ and ‘Fatigue Sweat Pants’ will be sold in limited quantities.

At the fashion lifestyle select shop ‘Kakis’ pop-up, visitors can find various items including Gorecore style clothing (a style that matches outdoor items with everyday wear) from brands like Arc’teryx and Kakis, as well as music albums and books.

Additionally, until the 19th of next month, a pop-up for the French niche perfume ‘MEMO PARIS’ will be held, and the luxury brand ‘Saint Laurent Men’s’ store will be newly renovated and reopened to offer a fresh experience to customers.

At Daejeon Timeworld, the children’s hanbok specialty brand ‘Harang Hanbok’ pop-up will run until the 27th, enhancing the Chuseok atmosphere. The global fashion brand ‘ZARA’ offers discounts of up to 40%.

In Suwon Gwanggyo, the Swedish electric car brand ‘POLESTAR’ showroom will be open until the 31st of next month. Customers participating in test drives and on-site events will also receive gifts.

A Hanwha Galleria official said, “Following the pop-ups of domestic emerging designer brands Tug Club and Under My Car held earlier this year, the open-run phenomenon of domestic brand pop-ups has continued, attracting great interest from customers,” adding, “We have prepared various events to make the Chuseok holiday abundant.”

During the Chuseok holiday period, Galleria Department Store’s closing days are as follows: Seoul Luxury Hall will be closed from September 29 to 30, and other branches including Daejeon Timeworld, Suwon Gwanggyo, Cheonan Center City, and Jinju will be closed from September 28 to 29.
