Jung-gu, Seoul (Mayor Kim Gil-seong) will hold the ‘Kim Mi-kyung Talk Concert’ to support Jung-gu residents on October 10 at the Chungmu Art Center Grand Theater.
Kim Mi-kyung, a leading lecturer in Korea and CEO of MKYU, will give a lecture under the theme ‘How to Meet a Better Me Every Day.’
This lecture is a special gift prepared by Jung-gu for its residents. The daily life after more than three years of COVID-19 was not easy. The long rainy season, disaster-level heatwaves, indiscriminate crimes, and soaring prices made the phrase ‘one mountain after another’ feel very real. In response, Jung-gu arranged a lecture to encourage residents in their weary daily lives. The event is hosted by the Jung-gu Cultural Foundation and sponsored by Woori Bank, sharing the same purpose.
CEO Kim Mi-kyung has gained public sympathy and love through various broadcasts and lectures. She authored bestsellers such as ‘Kim Mi-kyung’s Lessons at Forty,’ and her YouTube channel ‘MKTV Kim Mi-kyung TV’ has surpassed 1.7 million subscribers.
This lecture is also expected to comfort and encourage Jung-gu residents with clear and witty storytelling that sometimes brings humor and sometimes makes you ‘tap’ your knee in realization.
Any Jung-gu resident wishing to participate can book up to 4 tickets per person through the Chungmu Art Center website by 5 p.m. on October 9. The lecture fee is free.
For inquiries about the lecture, please contact the Jung-gu Cultural Foundation.
Kim Gil-seong, Mayor of Jung-gu, said, “I hope that the residents of Jung-gu, tired of daily life, will have a special time to recharge happy energy through CEO Kim Mi-kyung’s lecture.”
