On the afternoon of the 22nd, while leaving work, Prosecutor General Lee responded to reporters' questions about how the prosecution would prepare following the approval of the arrest consent bill for Lee Jae-myung, saying, "I have nothing additional to add today." This is interpreted as the prosecution's intention to focus on its fundamental role amid growing political turmoil after the approval of the arrest consent bill.

The prosecution plans to deploy a large number of prosecutors who investigated the "Baekhyeon-dong development preferential treatment case" and the "Ssangbangwool Group North Korea remittance case" for the warrant review.

The National Assembly approved the arrest consent bill for Lee Jae-myung at a plenary session the previous day. The warrant review for Lee will be held at around 10 a.m. on the 26th at the Seoul Central District Court.
