iStaging, which has dominated the European metaverse market, has entered the Asian market.

Spatial web company iStaging held its Asia launch event on the 21st at the Daewoo Summit Gallery, officially knocking on the door of the Korean market.

The event was attended by iStaging CEO Johnny Lee, European branch head Fabien Bernard, Asian branch head Choo Sun-woo, as well as Song Min-jae, CEO of INOK, the joint venture company formed with iStaging in Asia.

Johnny Lee, CEO of iStaging, said, "The concept of OMO, which integrates the online and offline worlds, is emerging as future content," adding, "iStaging has already achieved results in Europe by digitalizing reality to build the metaverse." He continued, "Korea is a source of pride for Asians in leading technology fields, and in fashion and beauty, Korea reminds us of Paris in Europe. The establishment of iStaging’s Asia branch in Korea is very meaningful."

In Europe, Fabien Bernard, head of iStaging Europe, presented the achievements with partners he has collaborated with for 5 to 6 years.

Stephan Emmanuelle, who oversees the technology sector for iStaging’s largest partner LOUIS VUITTON, said, "After COVID-19, LOUIS VUITTON had a great need for new digitalization, and the collaboration with iStaging achieved continuous success." He added, "iStaging met all the quality standards we required and we worked on more than 50 programs together." He cited three strengths of iStaging: simplicity and efficiency in implementation enabling time to market, autonomy for editing within LOUIS VUITTON, and reasonable budgeting.

Jakobo Alioli, director in charge of visual merchandising, shared his experience creating stores using iStaging’s VR Maker solution, saying, "It allows you to see the highest quality product photos most easily, quickly, and clearly." From this year, iStaging has been selected as an official channel for LOUIS VUITTON’s VIC (Very Important Client).

Executives from BNPPRE, the real estate governance division of BNP Paribas, Europe’s largest bank, explained the changing market and technological shifts, stating, "This is a great opportunity to survive in the market and can be an advantage for your services," reflecting on their collaboration with iStaging. Elizabeth Mnet, responsible for personal finance, also said, "Since 2018, we have collaborated with iStaging sharing the same vision to provide customers with deep immersion," explaining the 'Startup Village Project' created in South Africa, Portugal, and France.

Meanwhile, about 150 representatives and executives from Korea Development Bank, Shinhan Bank, Daewoo Construction, The Korea Herald, Hyundai FutureNet, LG Electronics, Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, Korea University, Geonyeong Group, Crypto.com Korea, Microsoft, HYBE Entertainment, Cube Entertainment, and Universal Pictures Korea attended the event.
