Sleek Head Design, Tour-Level Control Performance
Shorter Short Iron Length for Enhanced Control
Nickel Chrome Plating, Satin Finish Reduces Glare
"Thrilling feel."
This is the Mizuno Pro 241 iron introduced by Korea Mizuno. Compared to its predecessor, it features a simpler and sleeker head design combined with Mizuno's unique forging technology called "Grain Flow Forged (GFF) HD," enhancing both the impact feel and distance performance. The application of "Harmonic Impact Technology (HIT)," which designs the sound of the strike, reduces sound pressure in the high-frequency range to provide a pleasant hitting sensation.
The Mizuno Pro 241 boasts tour-level control performance. It uses carefully selected pure soft iron "1025E" material with carbon and impurity content below 0.3%. Based on feedback from PGA Tour players, the length of the short iron heads was designed shorter to upgrade control. The back of the striking area is made thicker compared to previous lines.
The long irons have a 1-degree increase, and the short irons a 2-degree increase in bounce, improving interaction with the turf. The visible part of the head at address features a nickel chrome plating and a satin (Pearl Brush) finish technique, reducing glare caused by reflections during rounds.
The set includes seven clubs from the 4-iron to the pitching wedge. The 3-iron is available by special order. The shafts come in two options: Dynamic Gold 120 (DYNAMIC GOLD 120) or NS Pro Modus3 105 (NS PRO MODUS3 105). David Llewellyn, head of research and development, explained, "We enhanced the visual appeal of the muscle back. This is a product achieved through years of collaboration between the global R&D development team and the forging factory."
