The unprecedented companion land, ‘Gangajisup’ (Dog Forest), announced on the 22nd that it will hold the representative autumn season event, the ‘Autumn Outing’ festival, until the 29th of next month. During this period, discount promotions and special campaigns will also be conducted so that more pet families can feel the autumn atmosphere and spend meaningful time together.
The Autumn Outing is a seasonal event held at Gangajisup, a dog-themed park. Set against the backdrop of 135,000㎡ (about 40,000 pyeong) of pristine nature in Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, a variety of autumn season-specialized programs and events that pet owners and their dogs can enjoy together will be held.
First, visitors during the Autumn Outing period will receive a 20% discount on admission tickets (excluding overlapping discounts). For the Autumn Outing season only, package products consisting of Gangajisup admission tickets and coffee vouchers or meal discount coupons have also been prepared. The season-limited packages can be purchased on Naver Reservation, Coupang, and Tmon until the 31st of next month, and the usage period is until the end of this year.
There are also abundant participatory programs for pet owners and their dogs. While an autumn picnic takes place on the vast grassy exercise field in contact with nature, tarps and picnic mats will be provided free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. The Autumn Post Office, where you can convey your feelings through letters, and a mini writing contest are also enjoyable activities. On weekends and holidays, special programs such as autumn sports days and dog sports demonstrations can be experienced.
This Autumn Outing event includes a social contribution campaign themed ‘Warm Winter Preparation for Abandoned Dogs.’ It is a donation campaign collecting used blankets and towels to help abandoned dogs survive the winter, and the collected items will be delivered to an abandoned dog shelter located in Chuncheon. For the safety of the abandoned dogs, items made of duck down, knit, lace materials, etc., are excluded, and donations can only be made on-site without parcel delivery.
