The University Innovation Support Project is a program that supports universities to improve their structure through autonomous innovation. The goal is to provide high-quality university education and foster future talents. Currently, a total of 117 universities are participating in the project. Universities that achieve the highest grade, S, receive additional incentives.

The Ministry of Education evaluates universities on ▲innovation plans ▲core educational outcomes ▲self-performance management, among other criteria. In particular, the educational innovation strategy area, which corresponds to the innovation plan, was the main focus of the evaluation.
